During the inspection, the minister observed various practical and theoretical training sessions being undertaken by the participants. He expressed satisfaction over the dedication, discipline and enthusiasm displayed by the trainees, noting that such programmes are helping youth and aspiring professionals gain the technical knowledge necessary to move towards self-reliance.

Minister Das emphasised that the training being provided at the centre is not only improving the professional competence of the participants but also empowering them with the confidence needed to pursue independent income-generating activities. “I am glad to see their commitment, enthusiasm, and the positive impact the training is creating in their lives. My best wishes to the entire team for their continued efforts to become self-sufficient,” he told reporters after the visit.

He added that the state government is giving high priority to expanding skill development initiatives in the Animal Resource Development sector, recognising its potential to create employment opportunities, boost rural livelihoods and strengthen the livestock-based economy of Tripura.

The minister’s interaction with the trainees served as a motivational boost, with many expressing appreciation for the government’s focus on hands-on, job-oriented training. Staff members also welcomed the minister’s visit, stating that such engagement encourages them to further enhance training quality and outcomes.

Officials accompanying the minister highlighted that the Minor Veterinary Service Training Center continues to play a vital role in producing trained personnel capable of supporting veterinary services, livestock care and small-scale animal husbandry activities across the state.

The visit reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting skill-building, self-reliance and rural development through structured training and targeted support programmes.
