Addressing the gathering, Governor Nallu congratulated the graduating students on their achievements and emphasized the importance of continuous learning in today’s rapidly evolving world. He highlighted the crucial role played by institutions like IGNOU in reaching learners in remote and underserved areas, thereby democratizing higher education.

The Governor also underscored the need for skill development and adaptability, urging students to equip themselves with practical knowledge and competencies that align with modern industry demands. He encouraged the graduates to contribute positively to society and take active roles in nation-building.

Officials of IGNOU Agartala Regional Centre expressed pride in the accomplishments of the students and reiterated the institution’s dedication to providing quality education through flexible learning modes. They also highlighted the growing enrollment in the region, indicating increased awareness and trust in distance education.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of faculty members, administrative staff, and family members of the graduates, creating an atmosphere of celebration and achievement. Several students were also recognized for their outstanding academic performance during the programme.

The convocation not only celebrated academic success but also reinforced the significance of lifelong learning and equal access to education. IGNOU continues to play a pivotal role in expanding educational opportunities across the country, especially in regions like Tripura where geographical challenges often limit access to traditional learning institutions.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, marking yet another successful chapter in IGNOU’s journey of empowering learners through education.
