Agartala June 10: The merit rate of the son of a dismissed teacher has matched the financial weakness of the family. The family’s many financial hurdles did not seem to affect Salka Devavarma, an accomplished secondary school student. But in the coming days he sought help from the chief minister to study in the science department. Kriti Chhatra’s house is in Kanchanmala of Golagathi Assembly. But for his studies now Jampuijala lives in Nav Sardar Para.

Salka Debbarma, a student of Don Bosco School, bagged the first position among the Janjati Madhyamik examinees in the state by securing 478 marks in the 2023 academic year. His father Uttam Debbarma was a retired teacher of 10,323. After the father lost his job, he chose to earn money by running a shop in front of the house. The family continues to meet the son’s educational needs somehow. The benefit was met in the son’s secondary examination. Meanwhile, Salka Debbarma wants to study science department. But it is regrettable that no government representative and no political representative have gone to inquire about Salka Debbarma, and it is far from extending a hand of cooperation. However, teaching in the science department will be a challenge to the fired teacher and the father of the meritorious student. But his father won’t do anything about it. He said that even if it is meaningless, he will take his son to the right things in the future. However, Shalka Debbarma requested the Chief Minister of the state to help him in his studies.
