Agartala, September 12. Union Minister of State for Industry and Commerce Anupriya Patel came on a two-day visit to the state to review the industrial infrastructure of the state. On this day, the industrial city was visited on the ground. He was welcomed by Industry and Commerce Minister Shantana Chakma, Tripura Industry Development Corporation Chairman Navadal Banik. He was felicitated with state-made bamboo products. Principal Secretary KS Sethi and Director Bimbashree B of the Department of Industries and Commerce were present. He visited Bodhjungnagar industrial city. The Union Minister expressed satisfaction by visiting DS Group’s rubber processing industry and bamboo-based industries there. He then visited the Land Custom Station at Agartala. On Wednesday, he will visit rubber plantations in Sipahijala district and hold a review meeting at Sipahijala district magistrate’s office, said Binay Bhushan Das, OSD of the Department of Industries and Commerce.
