Agartala: Dec 22: Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that the Communist government worked only for the Tripura state cadre for 25 years, claiming to be a government of the poor but not working for the people. He contrasted this with the current government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has been providing education, health, drinking water, housing, electricity, toilets, and ration to the people of Tripura. Shah emphasized that this is what good governance looks like. He made these remarks while formally inaugurating the Cooperative Conference 2024 at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan on Sunday.
