TSF observes Black Day in Khumulwng

Agartala: Jan 08: The Tripura Students’ Federation (TSF) observed Black Day in Khumulwng to protest against the 2019 anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) violence. Hamlo Jamatia, the General Secretary of TSF, stated that on January 8, 2019, TSF had called for a shutdown in Khumulwng Madhavbari to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act. During the protest, six TSF students were seriously injured by police gunfire. Since then, TSF has been observing this day as Black Day. This year, the day was observed as Black Day once again.
