Agartala: Sept 11: A delegation from the Tripura Student Federation (TSF) met with Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nalluri on Wednesday to advocate for the recognition of the Kokborok language. The delegation, which included Hamlu Jamatia, the General Secretary of TSF, and other members, submitted a memorandum to the Governor at Raj Bhavan. Hamlu Jamatia emphasized that their long-standing demand is for the recognition of the Kokborok language in the Roman script. This demand was discussed in detail with the Governor during the meeting.
