Agartala: July 22: During a recent Parliament session, MP Biplab Kumar Dev urged the Union Ministry of Tourism to expedite the ongoing renovation work at the Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur.

Mr. Dev highlighted that the renovation is part of the Prasad scheme, aimed at enhancing the temple’s infrastructure to accommodate the large number of devotees who visit annually. He noted that the Union Ministry of Tourism had initially approved Rs 37.8 crore for the project. However, an additional Rs 17.61 crore is needed to complete the development work.

Emphasizing the importance of the temple to pilgrims, Mr. Dev requested the allocation of the additional funds to ensure timely completion of the project.
