Tripura Rajya Sabha By-Election: CM cast his vote

Agartala, Tripura – The voting process for the Tripura Rajya Sabha by-election began at 9 am today and will continue until 4 pm.

Chief Minister Exudes Confidence in BJP’s Victory. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha cast his vote earlier today and expressed confidence in the victory of BJP’s nominated candidate, Rajib Bhattacharjee. “The BJP, along with its allies Tipra Matha and IPFT, will secure a total of 47 votes,” he said.

 

BJP Candidate Rajib Bhattacharjee Speaks Ahead of Polls. Rajeev Bhattacharya, the BJP’s nominated candidate, addressed the media and highlighted the party’s commitment to the people of Tripura. “The BJP government has been working tirelessly for the development of the state since coming to power in 2018 and again in 2023,” he said.

 

Bhattacharya praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on the Northeast region, saying, “For years, the region was deprived of various facilities, but PM Modi has brought about significant development.”

 

Candidate Vows to Accelerate Tripura’s Development

 

Bhattacharya, who is contesting the Rajya Sabha seat, promised to expedite the development of Tripura if elected. “I will work diligently in the Rajya Sabha to ensure Tripura’s growth and prosperity,” he said.

 

The results of the by-election are eagerly awaited.
