Tripura Legislative Assembly to Extend Retirement Benefits to All Legislators

Agartala: August 28: In a significant move, the Tripura Legislative Assembly is set to introduce an amendment bill during its upcoming monsoon session. The proposed bill aims to grant retirement benefits to all legislators, regardless of their tenure.

Addressing the media today, Speaker Biswabandhu Sen announced that the monsoon session will run from September 4th to September 6th. During this session, the Tripura government plans to introduce three bills, with the retirement benefits bill being a key focus.
