Agartala: May 16: The Tripura state government has faced criticism from the opposition due to disappointing results in schools operating under the Vidyajoti scheme. In response, the ruling party BJP has initiated measures to address the situation. State Chief Spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty announced during a press conference that necessary actions have been taken by the education department.
Specifically, students who received compartmental results in secondary and higher secondary examinations under the Vidyajyoti project will undergo re-examination through special coaching during the upcoming summer vacation. The state education department aims to provide targeted support to improve outcomes in schools with poor results, focusing on infrastructure enhancements.
Meanwhile, Chakraborty accused the CPM of spreading confusion through their press conference. The BJP has organized a state-wide protest march on May 18 to counter the alleged propaganda. According to the BJP spokesperson, the CPM’s statements echo their traditional script rather than addressing the educational challenges at hand.
