Congratulating the honorable members of the assembly and the people of the state on the first session of the thirteenth assembly, the governor said that the people of Tripura have immense faith in the basic principles of democratic system, equality, honesty and responsibility towards the country. I appreciate the sincerity and enthusiasm with which the people of the state have participated in the election process.

According to him, after the historic verdict of the people in the 12th Legislative Assembly in 2018, a new journey on the path of progress began in the state of Tripura. The Governor said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha in the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to take Tripura to new heights in the path of development.
