Agartala: May 09: The Tripura Pradesh Congress organized a Tiranga rally in Agartala city to honor and express solidarity with the Indian soldiers. The rally commenced from the Pradesh Congress Bhavan** and passed through various routes across the city, drawing participation from supporters and local residents.
Addressing the media during the event, Pradesh Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha referred to the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which resulted in the loss of 26 innocent lives. He noted the deep sense of mourning and outrage felt across the nation, highlighting the widespread support for the Indian Army in response to such incidents.
During the rally, Saha extended his salutations to the Indian soldiers, acknowledging their commitment to combating extremism and terrorism. He also described the day as historic for India, emphasizing the nation’s determination in overcoming security challenges.
The event underscored the significance of national unity and collective recognition of the contributions made by the armed forces in ensuring the country’s safety and sovereignty.
