During a visit to the Kathalbari area in Ambassa, Dhalai district, Tipra Motha’s block president, Pradip Riang, addressed journalists and emphasized the longstanding nature of this demand. He expressed disappointment over the lack of response from both the previous Left Front government and the current administration.

Riang stated that the blockade would commence tomorrow if the directive is issued, urging the state government to address the matter promptly. He also warned of potential escalations in the movement if the demands remain unmet.
