Agartala: Mar 28: Tripura royal scion Pradyot Kishor Deb Barma has served a 24 hour ultimatum to the BJP-led Central government to name an interlocutor for discussions with his party on tribal welfare issues, failing which he will begin fast unto death.

Pradyot said that if it doesn’t happen, I am going to go to Hatai Kotor and sit on a fast unto death.

He further said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had called him early in the orning to enquire about his health and promised to appoint an interlocutor by March 27.
