Three NLFT cadres surrender before BSF

Agartala, January 15: Three unlisted militants of the NLFT (Vishwa Mohan) group surrendered to the BSF today. The militants surrendered at Border Out Post (BOP) Manoranjan area under Chawmanu in Dhalai. BSF Tripura Frontier Public Relations Officer informed this news in a statement.

Mani Ranjan Tripura (28), Chintajoy Tripura (38) and residents of Rajendra Roja Para under Manikpur Thana of Dhalai district.

Ravan Jai Tripura (28) NLFT enemy surrendered to BSF this morning. Surrendered Mani Ranjan Tripura joined the NLFT in March 2024, Chintajoy Tripura in April 2023 and Ravan Joy Tripura in December.

The public relations officer of BSF Tripura Frontier said that they have decided to surrender to leave the path of violence and adopt a normal life and join the mainstream of the country.

On this day, he also said in the statement that the state has been identified as hostile for the last few decades. Several cadres of the NLFT (Vishwa Mohan) group have recently chosen to return to the mainstream of society due to the efforts of the central agencies and state authorities.
