Three Bangladeshi Nationals with Indian Tout arrested

Agartala: Feb 12: Kumarghat police have arrested one Indian trafficker and three Bangladeshi nationals. According to reports, on February 10th, acting on a tip-off, the police launched an investigation and apprehended the three individuals in the Noyapara area under Kumarghat police station.

The arrested individuals revealed that they had entered India from Bangladesh several months ago and had started working in Kumarghat. Three of them are from Moulvibazar in Bangladesh, while the Indian trafficker is identified as Ashik Uddin, a resident of the Tilla Bazaar area in Unakoti district.

The three Bangladeshi nationals have been identified as Kukhon Mia, Abid Mia (26), and Jewel Mia. Ashik Uddin, the trafficker, was also arrested. Police have filed a specific case against the accused and, on Wednesday afternoon, presented them in the Kailashahar district court for further proceedings. The investigation into their activities is ongoing.
