Agartala, January 29: The group of thieves was cleaned house when owner was absent. The gang of thieves fled with Rs 27,850 in cash from the house. Later, a written complaint was filed with the police station on behalf of the family. Police have arrested two youths in that incident.

A police officer said that last night, there was a daring theft at the house of a businessman named Tapan Debnath, of Udaipur Shalgara area. Later, a written complaint was filed with the police station on behalf of the family. On the basis of this complaint, the police started an investigation and the police investigation first arrested a youth named Riyaz Hossain from Udaipur Shalgara. When he was taken to the police station and interrogated, the name of another youth came up in the theft case, Shakeel Akhtar. When he was arrested and searched, the police recovered Rs 27,850 in cash from him.
