The protest turned into an attack! The residents of the area demonstrated the attack outside the Khowai Power Corporation and the workers had to run away from this attack!

Angry people at Khowai Vidyut Nigam office, they went on a rampage. Gusty winds and light rain in and around Khoai town on Sunday And that’s why the power service of Khowai city was disrupted.
Despite contacting Vidyut Nigam over the phone, the local residents came to the Vidyut Nigam office around 10:30 pm without getting any response. Residents of the area ransacked the office without getting the officials in the office.
Group D employee Sajal Sarkar and other employees were attacked by the locals people.
It is reported that the rest ran away to save their lives.
Devesh Debbarma, senior manager of Vidyut Nigam Office’s Khowai Division, filed a case at Khoai Police Station regarding this incident.
