On this day, Minister Tinku Roy said that the overall issue was discussed with the representatives of the victims of the Bengali section. I have heard their demands. The Government of Tripura sympathizes with them and stands by all the affected. According to him, it is not possible to return those whose houses were burnt. However, the administration will arrange to pay at least 25 percent of the compensation to the victims within the next two days.

According to him, the state government wants the situation to normalize. Open the market. People have been on the streets for the last three days, the helplessness and bitterness that has manifested itself today. There is no doubt that their anger has been expressed today due to the situation of the last few days.

He said that the administration will take necessary steps to help the victims very soon. We wanted to see the overall picture of the damage. Instead, they will now go back and fulfill their demands. Incidentally, today the Marmukhi crowd vandalized the office of the Gandachhara Sub-Divisional Ruler. It was possible to bring the situation under control with the intervention of the police. But, the environment is still stagnant.
