Agartala April 7: April 6 is the foundation day of Bharatiya Janata Party. As a part of that, the party officials have undertaken various social programs till April 14. Therefore, a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was organized on Friday morning at Chandrapur Bazar under Nai Banmalipur Assembly Constituency. Rajeev Bhattacharya, the state president of Bharatiya Janata Party and the winning candidate of the area in the last assembly elections, was present. He said that this Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was organized by the initiative of Ward No. 25 as a part of the week-long program undertaken by the party. He said that the main goal is not only to work for the party but also for the society.

Meanwhile, as part of the week-long program, the tree plantation program of Ward No. 22 of this assembly constituency was held. Councilor Himani Debbarma, Mahila Morcha President Jharna Debbarma and others were present. About 60 saplings were planted around Lal Bahadur Dighi.

As part of Social Justice Week, a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was held in front of Chandrapur ISBT under the direction of Sadar Shahr District Youth Morcha. Besides, sweets are distributed among pedestrians and workers. Sadar City District President Asim Bhattacharya informed about this.
