Strict action ordered against government health workers

Agartala: June 22: On Thursday, District Magistrate Dr. Bishal Kumar Bishalgarh sub-district visited the hospital suddenly. He ordered to take strict action against 24 health workers due to their absence in the hospital on time. They have been absent for this day. Besides, Sepahijola District Magistrate has ordered them to give written reasons for their absence from the hospital on time.

He said that there were many complaints about patient services at Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital. He came to Bishalgarh Sub-District Hospital at 9 o’clock today and found out that 24 health workers did not come to the hospital on time. So they have been absent on this day. The District Magistrate also ordered to give written reasons for absence from the hospital. He said that the district administration will take strict action against the absent health workers. He warned that such operations will continue in the coming days.
