Agartala: Dec 20: The STGT job aspirants again went to the Education Minister’s residence demanding appointment together. The STGT qualifiers have been protesting for months. Recently, they were allegedly lathi charged by the police when they went on a peaceful protest in front of the Education Minister’s residence.
A few people were injured in this. Among them, the verdict of the STGT employment case came out from the High Court on Monday. The STGT 2022 pass outs visited the Education Minister residence on Tuesday. They demanded the education minister to appoint together.
The complaints of the meritorious persons were that the Education Minister did not accede to their demands and pushed the issue of their appointment to the Finance Department. After that the STGT qualifiers went to the Deputy Chief Minister’s residence. There they spoke to the Deputy Chief Minister. The Deputy Chief Minister told them that it is not possible for him to decide the matter alone. So he will talk to the Education Minister and the Chief Minister about it.
