Agartala: Nov 30: A grave situation is prevailing in Bangladesh. Various organizations are contemplating taking the matter of Chittagong to the International Court of Justice. Expressing deep concern over the persecution of minorities in Bangladesh, state BJP spokesperson Nabenendu Bhattacharya said this at a press conference today.
He expressed concern about how Chittagong became part of Pakistan, where 97% of the population was non-Muslim at the time of partition. Now, the non-Muslims are in the minority there, but they are being persecuted. He claimed that various organizations are considering and deem it necessary to take the matter of Chittagong to the International Court of Justice.
On this day, he said that the state BJP has thanked Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha and the cabinet members for filling up vacant posts in various government departments and creating posts based on needs.
At today’s press conference, BJP Tripura state spokesperson Nabenendu Bhattacharya said that the government is working on a plan to make the youth of the state self-reliant along with government jobs. After the BJP government came to power in Tripura, the state has changed. People are attracted to the BJP government due to these positive efforts of the government.
He said that the Namo Yuva program will end tomorrow. It has been observed that the youth have attended this program. The previous government could not organize such a youth program that could garner such a response in Agartala.
