Agartala: June 04: Mani De, a resident of South Tripura suffering from a severe form of cancer, has been granted financial assistance from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for advanced medical treatment. The support was facilitated through the intervention of Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb, who expressed deep gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his prompt response to the critical situation.
Taking to social media, MP Biplab Kumar Deb shared that Mani De had reached out seeking urgent financial help for specialized cancer treatment. Upon receiving the request, the MP immediately wrote to the PMNRF, highlighting the gravity of the patient’s condition and the need for immediate support.
Acknowledging the seriousness of the matter, the Prime Minister’s Office swiftly responded, approving ₹3 lakh from the PMNRF for the medical care required. This timely intervention will greatly aid in Mani De’s access to advanced treatment and provide hope for recovery.
MP Biplab Kumar Deb extended his heartfelt appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for considering the appeal with urgency and compassion. He emphasized that the Prime Minister’s empathy and swift action reflect the government’s commitment to ensuring that no citizen is left behind in times of need, particularly those battling life-threatening illnesses.
He also reaffirmed his own dedication to serving the people of Tripura and ensuring that the voices of the needy are heard at the highest levels. The financial assistance has brought a sense of relief to Mani De and his family during a critical time and stands as a testament to how timely intervention and compassionate governance can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
