Shilachhari Boys Hostel turn into Ashes in Devastating Fire

Agartala: July 09: In a tragic incident, the Shilachhari Boys Hostel was completely destroyed by fire earlier today. According to reports, residents in the Shilachhari area noticed flames engulfing the hostel at approximately 7 AM.

Despite prompt notification to the fire brigade in Karbuk, the firefighters faced delays in reaching the scene from Karbuk to Shilachhari. As a result, the entire boys’ hostel was reduced to ashes.

Thankfully, the hostel students were attending coaching classes at the time of the fire, and they remained unharmed. However, their personal belongings, including furniture, books, and documents, were lost in the blaze.

The cause of the fire remains uncertain, leaving authorities to investigate further. The incident has left the community in shock and distress as they grapple with the extensive damage caused by the fire.

Our thoughts are with the affected students and their families during this difficult time. We hope that investigations will shed light on the source of the fire and prevent such tragedies in the future.
