Udaipur, Oct 18 — In a heartwarming display of unity and community spirit, the “Sharad Samman 2025” ceremony was held on Saturday at Rajarshi Kalakshetra, Udaipur, under the initiative of Aditya Solar Energy Private Limited. The annual event honoured clubs and organizations that made meaningful contributions to society during the Durga Puja celebrations.
State Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy inaugurated the ceremony and reflected on the positive transformation of Durga Puja over the years. “There was a time when the festival was marred by unrest,” he said. “But today, it has evolved into a family celebration that unites communities. Every club and organization must now take responsibility and contribute to the betterment of society.”
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Gomati Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Debal Debroy, Udaipur Municipal Council Chairman Sheetal Chandra Majumder, social worker Sabita Nag, and Aditya Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. Managing Director Manish Dutta, among other eminent guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director Manisha Dutta reiterated the company’s dedication to social responsibility. “Our goal extends beyond business. Through Sharad Samman, we aim to recognize and encourage those who work selflessly for the welfare of society. This annual initiative celebrates the spirit of service, unity, and shared progress,” she said.
A total of 15 clubs and social organizations were felicitated for their exceptional work in various fields — from social welfare and environmental awareness to community development and cultural preservation.
