Seven Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested for Illegal Entry in Tripura

Agartala, March 23: The Railway Police apprehended seven Bangladeshi nationals on charges of illegal entry into India. Among them, two individuals had disguised themselves as women.

According to a police officer, the suspects were detained at Agartala Badharghat railway station early on Saturday. Their suspicious behavior prompted further investigation. Upon interrogation, it was revealed that they lacked valid documents and had confessed to unlawfully entering Tripura.

The group had reportedly intended to travel to Chennai via the Kanchenjunga Express from Agartala Badharghat railway station. Authorities have registered a specific case against them and initiated an investigation into their entry and motives.
