Sabroom Landport work almost complete, land port traffic likely to start within next month: Aditya Mishra

Agartala, January 23: Work on Sabroom Landport is nearing completion. Traffic through this land port is likely to start within the next month. LPI Chairman Aditya Mishra said that Sabroom came to visit IPC today and expressed his opinion. LPI Secretary Vivek Burman was present during his visit on this day.

LPI member Sanjeev Gupta, BSF IG Piyush Patel, Purushottam Das, BSF 96 Battalion Commandant Abhimunya Jha are also present. Moreover, during the day’s visit, PD Ramgarh Port, Sarwar Alam, CO Lt. Col. Syed Imam Hossain, were present on behalf of Bangladesh.

UNO- Ramgarh Mamta Afrin, AC Land- Ramgarh Manas Chandra Das, OC Debapriya Das, OC Traffic- Munir Hossain etc.

On this day LPI Chairman Aditya Mishra reviewed the development program of ICP. After that, the Indian delegation met the Bangladesh delegation on the Moitri Setu and observed the blueprint of development activities of the main construction program of Bangladesh ICP.

At the end of the visit, LPI Chairman Aditya Mishra told the media that the work of Sabrum Landport Authority is nearing completion. Traffic will start through this land port within the next one month. Efforts are being made to uncover the land port as soon as possible. So that trade and travel to Bangladesh can be started through the land port.

He said that this project is very important for both countries.
