Agartala: July 08: Rupaya Jayshree Alex, a new addition to Don Bosco School, was officially inaugurated on Monday. The ceremony was presided over by Governor Indrasena Reddy Nalur. Principal Father Sebastian Palatti and Co-Principal Father Dinesh Narzari were also present.
During the event, the ceremonial lamp was lit, and the Governor commended the educational excellence associated with Don Bosco schools. He emphasized the importance of advancing students’ education and urged the management to enhance educational services.
The newly constructed Alex block boasts several modern facilities, including LED interactive board-equipped classrooms, playrooms, an auditorium, a sick room, a dedicated support staff area, child-friendly restrooms, and a lift serving the entire fourth floor. Additionally, a 50-capacity computer lab is available. Construction of the new block began on May 2, 2022.
Don Bosco School, established in 1997 with 252 students, has now grown to accommodate 2,380 boys and girls from nursery to class XII, along with 152 employees.
