RO visits GB Hospital for  poll worker

Agartala: April 22: Dr. Vishal Kumar, the Returning Officer for the West Tripura Constituency, visited a poll worker who is currently receiving treatment at GB Hospital.

According to reports, the poll worker in question, Subhash Das, fell ill while stationed at a polling booth during the West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency elections. Subhash Das, a teacher at Paschim Jarulbachai Hariapara JB School under the Sadar sub-division, sustained an injury after slipping and hitting his head while on duty.

Dr. Vishal Kumar addressed the media after leaving the hospital. He confirmed that he had personally spoken with the injured teacher and also communicated with his family members. The Returning Officer assured them of all necessary assistance from the government. Encouragingly, Subhash Das’s physical condition has significantly improved, and he is now able to speak and eat comfortably.
