Agartala: Jan 01:  NC Debbarma (85), the Revenue Minister of the coalition government and the supremo of IPFT passed away today. He failed all the doctors’ efforts at GB Hospital on Sunday and went to the country of no return. He was admitted to GB after suffering a brain stroke on December 30 at his home. He was also operated. Leaders-ministers rushed to GB after getting the news of his death.Narendra Chandra Debbarmma is survived by his wife and five children. He was admitted at GB Hospital in critical condition agter he had suffered brain stroke. He went through complex brain surgery by the supervision of Dr. Siddha Reddy and was put on ventilator at the ICU.It is known that the last rites of late minister NC Debbarma will be completed at his ancestral residence in North Maharanipur in Teliamura on Monday. As soon as the news spread, a shadow of grief descended on the political circles. He was the main face of the IPFT team. Political experts believe that it will be a big loss for the party ahead of the elections. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed his condolences on social media. The state government has announced one day public holiday and three days of ‘Rastriyo Sokh’ on the death of minister NC Debbarma. On this day, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha paid his last respects to the minister at his house.
