Agartala: Jan 29: A 6-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Energy, Sustainability & Climate Change” was successfully conducted by the Electrical Engineering Department of Tripura Institute of Technology, Narsingarh, from January 16th to January 22nd, 2025. This event, organized under the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) scheme, was held in online mode, ensuring wide accessibility for participants from diverse institutions.
The FDP brought together faculty members, research scholars, and postgraduate scholars from AICTE-approved institutions, fostering a collaborative learning environment. The program featured valuable lectures and insights from esteemed resource persons, including experts from foreign organizations, the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Central and State Universities, and industry professionals. Their contributions covered a range of topics, from the uses of renewable energy resources to the impact of climate change and the role of sustainable energy in various sectors.
The objective of the FDP was to equip participants with an in-depth understanding of renewable energy technologies, climate change challenges, and the development of sustainable energy solutions. Through expert-led sessions, participants gained critical knowledge regarding the current trends, research opportunities, and practical applications of energy resources in the context of sustainability.
