Agartala March 27: The first session of the Thirteenth Legislative Assembly begins on Friday after the 2023 Assembly elections are over. Election of Principal was an important process at the beginning of the session. MLA Vishwa Bandhu Sen was elected as the principal. After the election of the principal, this is the election of the vice-principal.

Monday was the last day to submit nomination papers for the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. Election of Vice Principal will be held on March 28. Ruling Party MLA Ramprasad Pal filed nomination papers for the post of Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. MLA Ramprasad Pal submitted his nomination papers to Assembly Secretary Bishnupada Karmakar. MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury and others were with him. The vice-principal election will be held through secret ballot on Tuesday. On this day, three bills will be raised in this assembly session. These include the establishment of Arya Bhatta University in North Tripura, Techno India and Stump Paper.
