Agartala: April 13: As the West Tripura Lok Sabha election draws near, political fervor intensifies. Teams from various parties are leaving no stone unturned in their last-minute promotional efforts. On Saturday, spirited meetings and processions echoed through the Jirania, Mandai, and Khumulwng areas, rallying support for Ashish Kumar Saha, the candidate representing the Indi Alliance.

Among the notable attendees were former minister Manik Dey, Pabitra Kar, and a host of supporters from the Left and Congress camps. At a road meeting, Manik Dey emphasized the need for change at the center. He asserted that the current government’s power has become intolerable for the people. According to him, the upcoming Lok Sabha election will undoubtedly witness the BJP’s defeat.
