A meeting with all political leaders was held at Irani police station on Saturday afternoon, attended by Irani Police and Sub-Divisional Police Officer Jayanta Karmakar. During the meeting, all parties were urged to adhere to the model code of conduct and electoral code of conduct to maintain peace and harmony in their respective areas. The party leaders assured the administrative officials of their commitment to maintaining peace and harmony.

Additionally, all political parties were instructed to conduct their campaigns according to the established schedule. A copy of the final list was provided to all parties during the meeting. Sub-Divisional Police Officer Jayanta Karmakar assured that the Security Department would provide full cooperation to maintain peace and harmony, as in previous elections. He emphasized that any violent incidents would negatively impact the entire panchayat and send a wrong message about Kailashahar to the state and country.

So far, no untoward incidents have occurred with the filing of nomination papers. Officer Karmakar called for the same level of peace to be maintained during the election days.
