Agartala: Sept 02: The Pradesh Congress has called on the Chief Minister to remove Minister Sudhanshu Das from the Cabinet, alleging that he is attempting to create unrest through provocative comments on social media. This demand was made by Praveer Chakraborty, spokesperson of the Pradesh Congress, during a press conference at the Pradesh Congress Bhavan on Monday.

Chakraborty claimed that Minister Das insulted a section of people with a social media post on Sunday and, in another post, encouraged people to take the law into their own hands. These posts have reportedly caused significant agitation among the public, with accusations that the minister is inciting unrest.

Despite 24 hours having passed since the posts were made, no action has been taken by the government or the party, according to Chakraborty. He further alleged that the government is complicit in fostering unrest. Chakraborty urged the minister to refrain from making such posts to maintain peace and harmony in the state and called for Das’s removal from the Cabinet, labeling him as an incompetent minister.
