Incidentally, today, on the instructions of the All India Congress Committee, a Raj Bhavan drive was organized at the initiative of the Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee. This drive started in front of the Agartala Press Club and proceeded to the Circuit House with a procession and a meeting of the Pradesh Congress was held.

Pradesh Congress spokesperson Prabir Chakraborty gave details about the Raj Bhavan drive through a press conference at the Pradesh Congress Bhavan on Sunday. The decision to organize this program was taken to protest against various corruptions of the central and state governments.

Facing reporters, Pradesh Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha said that although the Parliament is in turmoil over Adani’s financial corruption and fraud and the Manipur issue, the Prime Minister is silent on this issue. In protest against the corruption of the central government, on the instructions of the All India Congress Committee, a public deputation will be given by the Congress party to the Governors of every state and union territory across the country.

He also said that the Prime Minister is not making any comments on the issue of Adani’s corruption and fraud as well as the turbulent situation in Manipur. Although the caste riots have been going on in Manipur for almost 18 months, the Prime Minister of the country has not visited there even once in this situation.

Pradesh Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha said that an initiative will be taken to form public opinion by going to the Governors across the country and making them aware of the Prime Minister’s lack of any statement on the Modi-Adani fraud and the riot situation in Manipur. The people have to be united to get rid of the country’s economic disaster.
