Police Rearrest Fugitive Who Escaped from Bishalgarh Police Station

Agartala: Oct 06: The police have successfully rearrested Prasenjit Roy, a fugitive who had escaped from Bishalgarh police station. Roy, the son of TSR jawan Shanti Roy, was initially arrested in connection with an accident case but attempted to flee from custody.

According to the police, Roy tried to escape by running towards the market. Officers immediately pursued him, and with the assistance of market-goers, he was apprehended and brought back to the police station. A case has been registered against him under the relevant sections, and he is scheduled to be produced in court tomorrow.
