As the petrol pump at Agartala Gonraj Chowmuhan ran dry, frustrated youths expressed their anger inside the station. Despite efforts by the police to pacify them, the situation escalated. Eventually, the East Agartala police station had to intervene forcefully, using batons to disperse the agitated crowd. During the clash, one young man was arrested and taken into custody.

Across the state, petrol shortages persist, leaving most fuel stations without supplies. Even those stations fortunate enough to have petrol face long queues of motorists and bikers eagerly waiting to refuel. The crisis has become a pressing concern, affecting daily life and mobility.
