Chowdhury criticized the ED for not apprehending the main accused, suggesting that many state leaders involved in financial irregularities have not been targeted. He argued that raiding the homes of ordinary businessmen would not lead to the capture of the primary culprits.

He further stated that these raids reflect the collapse of the state’s financial and economic order, as well as the rule of law. Chowdhury emphasized the need for more such raids but stressed the importance of ensuring that the main accused do not escape, as they continue to operate freely.
