Agartala: Nov 07: Police of Dharmanagar police station succeeded in anti-narcotics operation. A drug dealer with heroin was arrested from Dharmanagar West Chandrapur area yesterday afternoon.

It is known that Khokon Namashudra (35), a resident of Dharmanagar West Chandrapur area, was carrying on the business of heroin in the area for several days. Based on this information, the police arrested him on Monday with fifteen kilos of heroin. After interrogating him, the police recovered two boxes of heroin from the area.

District Superintendent of Police Bhanupada Chakraborty said that 50 grams of heroin were recovered from the accused twice. The police have started the investigation of the incident by taking a single case under the NDPS section against the accused.
