On the occasion of the 162nd birthday of Universal Poet Rabindranath Tagore, Tripura Art Society Dharmanagar sub-committee organized ‘Painting Festival and Painting Competition’ at Dharmanagar Vivekananda Sardh Centenary Bhawan on Sunday at 11 am in collaboration with Earth Key Foundation.
Biswabandhu Sen, Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly and MLA of Dharmanagar inaugurated the event. Pradyot De Sarkar, Chairperson of Dharmanagar Municipal Council, Kapil Kanti Das, President of Tripura Art Society, Subrata Dev, President of Tripura Art Society Dharmanagar Sub-Committee and others were also present.
On this day, the program was auspiciously inaugurated in a novel way, i.e. Rabindranath Tagore portrait collage. The guests present at the event paid tribute to the portrait of Rabindranath Tagore
