NSUI Delegation Visits Injured School Girl at GB Hospital

A schoolgirl who was injured by local miscreants while protesting at Dharmanagar school is currently undergoing treatment at GB Hospital. Following the orders of Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha and MLA Sudeep Roy Barman, a delegation from the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) visited the hospital to check on the girl’s condition and speak with her family. The incident has sparked widespread outrage, highlighting concerns about student safety and the need for stricter measures against such attacks.

The NSUI team expressed solidarity with the injured girl and assured her family of their support. The delegation also pledged to take up the matter with higher authorities to seek justice and take necessary actions against the perpetrators.

Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha and MLA Sudeep Roy Barman condemned the attack and called for immediate action to apprehend the culprits. They stressed the need for improved security in schools and assured that the Congress party would stand by the victim and her family during this difficult time. The visit by the NSUI delegation underscores the party’s commitment to student welfare and safety.
