Agartala, November 11: Body of newborn baby found floating in Khowai river. In the area of Dasmighat under Teliamura police station, the incident spread a lot of excitement in the whole area. The police of Teliamura police rushed to the spot after receiving the news.

According to a police official said that local people of Dasmighat area under Teliamura police station saw a newborn baby floating in the river Khowai. They immediately informed the police. After receiving the news, they rushed to the spot and recovered the body of the child and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem.

He also said that there was a newborn baby girl. The Teliamura Police Station has started an investigation into the incident.
