Agartala: Nov 27: Agartala November 26: On the occasion of Ras Purnima Tithi, a three-day fair organized at Brahmakunda in Simna was inaugurated. Union State Minister Pratima Bhaumik officially inaugurated the fair organized by the Information and Culture Department and Brahmakund Mela Committee on Sunday.

Simna Kendra MLA Brishketu Debbarma, West Tripura Zilla Parishad President Haridulal Acharjee, TTAADC Executive Member Ravindra Debbarma, Hejamara BAC Chairman Sunil Debbarma, Mohanpur Sub-Divisional Magistrate Subhash Dutta and others were present. After the inauguration ceremony, Union Minister of State Pratima Bhaumik along with other guests cut the ribbon of the exhibition stalls of various government departments and browsed the stalls.

While discussing the opening ceremony of the day, Union State Minister Pratima Bhaumik urged everyone to enjoy the joy of the festival and also to highlight the state’s culture. He also said that the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, has been trying to present the country’s art, culture, traditions and traditions to the whole world for the past 9 to 10 years. The Prime Minister of the country has declared 15th November as People’s Pride Day.
