Mystery Shrouds Death of Forest Officer

Agartala, July 19:  The mysterious death of a forest officer has caused significant concern in the village of Polinpur, near the National Highway in Teliamura Thana. The family of the deceased officer, Kinkar Debnath, alleges that he was murdered in a pre-planned attack. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

According to the family, Kinkar, a beat officer, was called from his residence by a known individual last night. Since then, the family has been unable to contact him. They reported that when they tried calling his mobile phone, an unknown person answered, but they could not speak to Kinkar. Despite searching various locations, the family could not locate him.

This morning, locals discovered Kinkar Debnath’s lifeless body by the roadside in the Polinpur area and immediately notified the Teliamura Thana police. A police team, along with forensic experts, arrived at the scene. The Sub-Divisional Police Officer and the District Police Officer also visited the site. The police have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

The family insists that Kinkar was murdered in a planned attack. The discovery of a forest officer’s body in broad daylight has raised serious concerns about the security situation in the area.
