Mother Language Protection Day is celebrated with dignity in Dharmanagar.

Mother tongue is mother language. So this language should be kept alive . Culture of all languages ​​will survive only if the mother tongue survives. Therefore, all speaking people should have respect and love for their mother tongue.

‘Mother Language Protection Day’ was celebration in Dharmanagar on Friday with due dignity . On this occasion, Bhavatosh Das, Chairman of District Council of North District, inaugurated the program organized at Dharmanagar Vivekananda Sardh Centenary Building under the initiative of District Information Culture Office. Manju Nath, vice chairperson of Dharmanagar municipal corporation, prominent philanthropist Malina Debnath and others were also present in the event.

Assistant Director of District Information and Culture Office Chandan Sarkar delivered the welcome speech on the occasion . District President Bhavatosh Das presided over the event.
On the occasion of Language Protection Day, discussion meetings, poetry readings and cultural programs were held on this daym

District president Bhavatosh Das, vice chairperson Manju Nath, social worker Malina Debnath and others spoke in the inaugural session. Poems written by various poets of North Tripura district were recited in the poetry reading ceremony . Students of different schools of the district participated in cultural program on this day . The guests of the program paid respect to the memory of language martyrs.
