Agartala: Feb 04: Every nominated candidate of all political parties is plowing the field to pass the polls for the upcoming assembly elections. In the political sphere, the main slogan of someone is to restore democracy and re-establish the rule of law, except for the slogan of other parties to continue the development of Tripura. Star promotion can be seen somewhere on Saturday. But independent candidates are no exception. Every political candidate is reaching door to door to seek people’s blessings using party slogans. On this day, Mithun Chakraborty was the star of the campaign. Mahaguru participated in a road show from Indranagar Bazar area on behalf of the BJP nominated candidate for 6th Agartala Assembly Constituency Papiya Dutta. On this day Mithun Chakraborty circumambulated the path with the nominated candidate in the car with the hood open. A road show was held with more than half a hundred workers. Meanwhile, Ashish Kumar Saha, the Congress nominated candidate of Town No. 8 Baradowali assembly constituency, went out for door-to-door campaigning in the area. Along with the Congress workers supporters, a large number of Left Front worker supporters were with Ashish Saha that day. Ashish Kumar Saha, a multiple-time MLA from the area, was defeated by BJP nominee Dr Manik Saha in the last by-election. But Ashish Saha is very popular in the area. Because he has kept the voters of this assembly constituency in his hands in the last few assembly elections. He was defeated by the people’s verdict in the by-election. He has been re-nominated by the Congress in the upcoming Thirteenth Legislative Assembly elections. And because it will be supported by the CPIM in the upcoming elections, the Left Front has not fielded a candidate in Town No. 8 Baradwali assembly constituency this time. The Left Front and Congress alliance is desperate to defeat Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. Ashish Saha went from house to house with the blessings of the people and claimed to be sure of victory. If BJP can win even one seat out of 60 seats in the upcoming assembly elections, it will be an undemocratic attitude and a political mistake. 7 Purushottam Roy Burman, the independent nominee of Ramnagar Assembly Constituency, went door to door campaigning in the area adjacent to Jayanagar Mahaveer Club. Apart from being a nominated candidate, he has special recognition as a human rights activist. He is fighting for the first time in parliamentary politics. Left Front is in support. The nominated candidate told the media that people want change. He said the main goal of this day is to restore democracy because without democratic rights, people cannot talk about work and food. For the past five years, the protesting voice of the people of the state has been stifled. And democracy has been killed. People cannot talk about their livelihood problems. So BJP has no power to stand in front of people. So they resort to threats and intimidation. So people are preparing. Now the thing to see is what the people will decide on February 16.
