Agartala April 18: Union Food, Public Distribution, Consumer Affairs Minister Pijush Goyal paid a courtesy call on State Food and Public Procurement Minister Sushanta Chowdhury in New Delhi on Tuesday. On this day, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury presented a wreath to Union Minister Pijush Goyal and wished Bengali New Year. Then Minister Sushanta Chowdhury spoke to the Union Minister for a long time about matters related to the interests of the state.

Claimed about various issues related to food public procurement and consumer interest affairs department. And how to strengthen the rationing system in the state in the future has also been discussed. The main aim is to raise the issue so that people get the rationing material properly. The Union Minister has also been apprised of the issues due to which the errors caused problems to the people of the state in the past days. The Union Minister assured that all the demands raised by Minister Sushanta Chowdhury must be addressed with utmost importance so that the people of the state do not have any problem. He also assured that the Center will arrange all the facilities so that the people of Tripura can get them properly. Later, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury posted on social media and thanked the people of the state for the assurance of Union Minister Pijush Goyal.
